Israeli Attacks in Gaza Leave Multiple Dead, Injured Despite Ceasefire

(MENAFN) Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip over the past day kill 10 Palestinians and injure 44 others, according to reports, as violations of a ceasefire in effect since last October continue.

In a statement, the Health Ministry says the latest casualties push the total death toll since October 2023 to 72,312, while the number of injured rises to 172,134.

The ministry adds that several victims remain trapped under rubble or left in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.

According to the Health Ministry, at least 733 Palestinians have been killed and 2,034 others injured in Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began.

The agreement was intended to end a two-year Israeli offensive that has devastated about 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated at around $70 billion, as stated by reports.
