Jordan Transfers Twenty-Nine Children from Gaza to Get Treated

(MENAFN) Acting on Royal directives, the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) carried out the evacuation of the 25th group of ailing children from Gaza on Monday under the framework of the “Jordanian Medical Corridor” program.

This most recent operation included 29 pediatric patients, accompanied by 42 relatives, who were brought to Jordan to receive immediate medical attention, according to an official statement.

Upon arrival, the children are set to receive specialized treatment at a number of hospitals across the Kingdom. The step underscores Jordan’s continued medical and humanitarian support for Palestinians in Gaza amid ongoing hostilities.

The evacuation initiative, which began in March 2025, is being executed in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO), adhering to internationally recognized medical and humanitarian protocols.

Launched by King Abdullah II, the Jordanian Medical Corridor ensures sustained healthcare services for sick children from Gaza and constitutes a central component of Jordan’s broader relief strategy.

In addition to the evacuation program, Jordan maintains two military field hospitals in northern and southern Gaza, along with another field hospital in Nablus to support medical needs in the West Bank.

The broader initiative forms part of Jordan’s continuing efforts to deliver healthcare assistance and emergency relief to Palestinians impacted by the conflict, reaffirming the Kingdom’s long-standing humanitarian engagement.
