During the talks, Kluge expressed his appreciation for Türkiye’s leadership on issues related to Gaza.
He commended the nation's efforts in advancing traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine as part of its broader health innovation strategy.
Kluge also called for increased collaboration to enhance the health of children and adolescents.
In addition, Kluge congratulated Türkiye on its upcoming role as the host of COP31, and suggested that global climate discussions should integrate health and sustainability considerations.
Emine Erdogan, sharing her thoughts on the meeting through the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, described it as "productive" and noted that they had addressed several key topics concerning the global health agenda.
